Good design means getting your hands dirty. The process—the research, the sketches, the pauses—can be a struggle, but when the big idea hits, it’s a realization. Creating something new requires and creates space for thought. Pushing past the surface and the noise of the everyday is both the goal and the reward.
More than just understanding a brief, a good designer is learning a new language
through every project. I’m absorbing my surroundings, and distilling this into visual vocabulary. I’m not static. I meet every new challenge by asking questions; by discovery.
