ABOUT ME

I'm a commercial & editorial photographer located in the Tampa Bay Area. I specialize in fashion/beauty, still life/product, lifestyle, food/drink and botanical images. My work is used in advertising, designer lookbooks, catalogs, billboards, websites, POP/POS displays and signage, clothing labels and product packaging, direct mail and other print media, editorial publication and stock licensing. I am also an agency test photographer and shoot portfolio images for agency represented fashion and lifestyle models, as well as agency standard models seeking representation.

My background in advertising and editorial publication as a creative is extensive. In addition to photography, I am very proficient in strategic and creative development, art direction, creative team management, photo styling, set design and post production. DELIVERY & EXECUTION

Styling Method: Develop, review and implement conceptual sketches, storyboards, strategic notes and creative specifications for each styling job. Implement concept strategies through styling efforts to achieve the desired outcome for each project.

Food Styling: Comprehensive food styling for photography, television and film. Develop ideas for food presentation and layout, including all aspects of styling prepared foods, raw ingredients, kitchenware and related goods and services. Style props and set elements for photography. Utilize a full array of styling techniques to maximize the attractiveness of each dish to be photographed. Prepare a wide array of savory and sweet dishes for the camera, including baking, cooking, decorating, plating and garnishing. Fine tune recipes as needed.

Prop & Product Styling: Style props, products and set elements for commercial and editorial photography assignments in the areas of food, product, still life, lifestyle, beauty, fashion. Implement styling specifications from conceptual sketches, storyboards or mood boards as appropriate. Styling ranges from tabletop to full sets.

Fashion Styling: Prepping and styling of garments and a wide array of accessories for both on and off-figure fashion in photography, television and/or film. On-figure styling, including wardrobe selection, garment prep (steaming, ironing, hanging, etc.) and fitting, as well as on-the-fly adjustments as necessary. Off-figure fashion styling, including wall, mannequin, hanging, laydown (off-figure flats), slant boards, stacks and tabletop presentation.

Design: Design prop and set elements as necessary to enhance the visual impact of each project based upon project specs, concept sketches, storyboards and mock designs. Prepare thumbnails and/or concept sketches as necessary. Read Less

Concept Development (direct clients): Work with clients to determine client's goals and objectives. Develop and execute creative concepts based on those goals and objectives to build brand identity, awareness and desire for the client's products and/or services, as appropriate, with a focus on visual stories presented through photographic imagery.

Method & Execution: Develop and/or collaborate on conceptual strategies, concept sketches, mood boards and storyboards for commercial and editorial photography assignments. Present concepts to clients for approval when necessary and to creative teams for implementation.

Art Direction & Creative Team Management: Select and/or manage creative teams for production and post-production work, as necessary, for photographic projects. Direct creative team and modeling talent on-set.

Agency &/or Editorial Clients: Collaborate on creative development and execution. Work with agencies to ensure that client goals and objectives are met from pre production planning through to post-production execution and image delivery, as appropriate. Execute creative concepts to achieve the desired photographic outcomes. Support Art Directors and/or Fashion Editors on set, when present. Read Less
