Photography is the stare of a person with too much fascination in the thoughts and realities they experience. Too many days of living projects and analyzing the details in a darkroom at 3am. We photograph to capture and encrypt those images that lure forth in our dreams and taunt us for their creation. We see images walking down streets, visually democratic eyes navigate through the mental snapshots clicking behind shuttered eyes.
Viewfinder mind, memory of negatives, I fear blindness.
