My passion for art began at the innocent age of five. A local art museum brought paintings into my kindergarten classroom and I was immediately drawn into the world of art. From that time on, I could almost always be found with a pencil, a piece of chalk or a crayon in my hand. My love for creative expression has remained and grown into a life-long passion.
I lose myself in my love for fine art, and that can be clearly seen in some of my designs which are characterized by flowing curvilinear forms and plant inspired motifs. I admire creative greats such as Milton Glaser, a note-worthy designer best known for his I Love New York logo, and Toulouse-Lautrec, the famous French painter and pioneer of graphic design whose life and work reminds me daily of the value of pushing past your limits. I am a life-long learner, believing that my talent thrives and remains well rounded by learning from other talented, creative individuals.
I currently reside in Minneapolis Minnesota with my husband, Justin and our black lab, Libby. Being a true Minnesotan I also have a passion for the great outdoors. In the summer I enjoy escaping to northern Minnesota where we camp and hike and enjoy the solitude of the great north woods. I have found it to be not only a relaxing environment but also a place to unwind and refresh my creative mind. I Love Design and I love sharing my talents with others.
