Alrik Koudenburg (1976) is a curious, analytical, resourceful freelance designer based in Amsterdam. Working for both clients directly and design agencies around the globe (eg. W+K / Mother / Sid Lee), where he’s responsible for concept and art-direction.

He enjoys creating first drafts and launching ideas within different disciplines of design. Ranging from interior design/ product design / graphic design / interactive media / photography to free work. Once the concepts are approved, Alrik often directs a team of creatives to execute it. He’s committed to creating exciting and refreshing brand experiences. Pushing the limits, creating unexpected outcomes.

Alrik’s strongest traits are his passion, his critical eye and his ability to key into opportunities for his clients, based on his broad knowledge of trends. Diversity and exciting new challenges are what drives him. It makes work feel like play. Alrik studied Graphic Design in Rotterdam, Fine-art in Sweden and Industrial Design at the Design Academy in Eindhoven.
He has traveled extensively and lived and worked abroad in cities like London / New York / Montreal / Buenos Aires and Sydney.
This has broadened his life experience and enhanced his ability to approach tasks in different ways.
