Influenced by neon, EDM, fast food, sports, corporate franchises, and other forms of contemporary Americana, Alex Abrahams’ films aim to portray the outrageous qualities of everyday American life. He enjoys using the medium of the narrative motion picture to ask questions about our society, often highlighting its nonsensical and silly characteristics. By creating satirical and outlandish stories that incorporate subjects such as organized religion, suburbia, sexuality, and prepackaged foods (like artificial cheese dip product), Alex attempts to bring to light some of the absurd and omnipresent American ideologies that tend to go unnoticed in our day-to-day lives.
