I've been fascinated by computer graphics since the early 80s when I got my first home computer and saw the first use of CGI in music videos and short films by what would eventually become Pixar. I got my chance to actually start trying to make my own art around 1992, with a PC running Windows 3.1 and a second-hand copy of Photoshop 2.5(!)
I started working as a software developer, and ended up combining that with graphic design, IT management, CD & DVD authoring, video editing and providing technical support to my colleagues, customers and suppliers.
Throughout my working life, I've continued learning - usually by getting stuck in and applying myself to the task at hand. I want to build on the wide range of skills that I've acquired, and add news ones along the way. I still love graphic design and art, but want to get back into software development, and in particular developing for iOS and the Web. I am also looking into expanding and extending my existing design and content skills into ebooks, digital magazines and other forms of online distribution.
Above all, I believe I can prove myself as a problem-solver who can take on and deal with tricky or unusual requirements, and someone who is adaptable to take on an ever-changing world. Read Less
