Aisha Al Tamimi

Dubai, United Arab Emirates
I am a graphic design student currently studying at the University of Sharjah - CFAD. While I may be one, I am a creative problem solver as well who loves developing strong and innovative concepts to product thoughtful designs. My passion doesn't stop at overall problem solving, but runs throughout my "ideation process", my attention to detail, and my aspiration to never stop learning.

I have experienced and engaged in numerous design disciplines throughout my education and professional experiences. They include branding, publication design and production, advertising campaign development, layout designing and typography. Through these endeavors I have gained a thorough understanding of how to work and design efficiently in fast-paced environments. With my broad range of creative experiences and my flexible, positive personality I can easily adapt, succeed, and grow in any new design atmosphere.

I prefer working on my own as I can deliver all requirements accurately and based on studied time management schedule. However, I am productive in a group as much as I am alone.

Mobile Art Gallery

Graphic Design - intern

The Mobile Art Gallery (MAG) is a new initiative that brings contemporary art to a broad audience via its mobile existence that allows it to visit a myriad of neighborhoods throughout a city, often moving beyond the confines of more traditional commercial and institutional arts spaces. A nomadic, pop-up gallery, the MAG is housed within a moving truck and showcases contemporary artworks featuring emerging, locally-based artists, thus simultaneously supporting the emerging artist community. Embarking on a 5-10 day tour of Dubai and debuting to coincide with the UAE and greater MENASA region’s most established international art event, Art Dubai, the MAG was initiated in late 2012 by Dubai-Honolulu-based independent curators Isabella Ellaheh Hughes and Dubai-Hong Kong-based Angelle Siyang-Le.
