Graphic Designer

Answering to the business and marketing managers, I collaborated with the senior designer in the full development and creative management of several education brands and many internal departments. For each of these brands I also worked closely with social media specialists to build engaging social content (images and posts, film and motion graphics, and multifaceted engagement campaigns); worked with the web developer to produce landing pages; development and maintenance of signage and wayfinding systems for 40+ sites; creating, managing and implementing collateral for events and expo’s; implementing, maintaining and editing digital and printed marketing collateral (eDM’s, printed and digital brochures, digital banner adds, print publications, maintenance of CMS etc) all in adherence with strict government policies while meeting the requirements and expectations of various company stakeholders.

Internship

I attended voluntary sessions at Debut Marketing, where I learned the behind the scenes aspects of design principles, and was able to put my Adobe software knowledge into full practice. Vicki of Debut Marketing was able to give me great direction in the usage and creation of client profiles, document type setting, and layout design. I wholly useful experience that my early design skills benefit from greatly.

Uniting Care - Lifeline

Graphic Designer Volunteer

In this community organisiation I volunteered for a unique position as graphic designer. I was able to compile booklets on crisis information such as suicide prevention, financial stability and support, and lighter topics such as book drive events and concerts. This experience gave me the ability to create work that was sensitive and subtle, while benefiting the community of Brisbane and greater Queensland.
