About me.....well there is a lot to say about my experience, goals and aspirations but I will try to keep it brief.
I am first and foremost an artist working towards honing my craft in various mediums, including hand renderings, 3D computer graphics, illustration and design. I have several years in the design field and would like to direct my career towards more conceptual design and branding as this is where I feel my strength lies as a Designer.
I have had a long passion and interest in retail design and branding; however my experience has also included Corporate Office Design & Multi-Family Residential. This passion for retail and branding started from my first job working in a retail clothing store, where I was asked to help staff and run a new location opening up in a challenging market unfamiliar with the small retail chains brand and product offering. Through successful merchandising and developing a fun atmosphere using what I had on hand; exciting products and a fun staff we gained popularity within the community and built lasting customer relations. This experience combined with my desire to be involved more thoroughly in the overall brand development, aesthetic and functional store design has greatly influenced the potential I see in design and the built environment.
As far as retail experience in the design profession I have worked on several major retail/food service chains, in varying capacities, including Panago Pizza, Waves Coffee, Rasoee Indian Cuisine, Canadian Tire and Northshore Credit Union. Read Less
