The Mushroom Fan was created during my 3-D design class at Wittenberg University, and consists of five models illustrating the transformation of one object into another.  I chose a mushroom and a fan for the ends of the transformation series because while both objects featured a radial element on the end of a stem, both objects were recognizably different.  

The Mushroom Fan series was sculpted from buff earthenware clay and painted with acrylic after firing.
