Environmental Graphic Design embraces many design disciplines including graphic, architectural, interior, landscape, and industrial design, all concerned with the visual aspects of wayfinding, communicating identity and information, and shaping the idea of creating experiences that connect people to place.

Essentially, EGD is branding places.

As the K4 Architecture Graphic Designer, I was able to create Environmental graphics for many Park Credit Union Branches, including the main office in Louisville. Park already had a solid brand, so it was really fun to create graphic elements that spoke the same language. 

I created a recognition wall for the Credit Union to highlight notable people. The bright colors echo throughout the building. A dimensional tree brings life to the stairs and brings the viewers attention to the second floor, where the mission statement brightens the room. In the employee lounge, a dry erase-idea-wall was created for the workers to jot down ideas and doodle sketches. Vinyl film was added to offices and conference rooms, to create privacy. A branded signage system was created for room identification and location destination.
