Environmental Graphic Design (EGD) embraces many design disciplines including graphic, architectural, interior, landscape, and industrial design, all concerned with the visual aspects of wayfinding, communicating identity and information, and shaping the idea of creating experiences that connect people to place.

Essentially, EGD is branding places.

As the K4 Architecture Graphic Designer, I was able to create Environmental graphics for Northside Bank and Trust's The Pointe, a hip, cool and modern space for retail and banking near Hyde Park, Cincinnati.

I was able to create window vinyl privacy film in the shape of surrounding homes, creating a sense of community inside the lobby space, and providing seclusion to the occupants of the offices. We invested lots of hours in the creation of the new logo, and we displayed it on the glass behind the tellers as a beacon in the heart of the bank. We provided a very fun and bright line of locational signage demarking the many facets of the business. We also provided a three panel collaged historical custom graphics illustrating the many milestones of the bank's history and community values.
