T-Mobile AR Repair UX/UI

T-Mobile AR Repair proof-of-concept
This proof-of-concept project for T-Mobile was meant to showcase the power of their 5G network. It featured an augmented reality repair process that could be assisted remotely by up to 5 others with active video feeds and on-screen drawing tools.

I was responsible for the User Experience design, and UI execution of this project while following the T-Mobile brand standards. I also edited the showcase video below.
User Experience Design
The UX phase of the project was collaborative with T-Mobile's Tech Experience team, and occurred over many sessions and with two major versions produced before moving to the UI phase.
Version 1 was more zoomed out with lots of panels and text.
Version 2 focused on letting the user see as much through the camera as possible and keeping the UI collapsed or minimized as much as possible.

Prototypes were created for both versions. Version two can be seen hereor you can just watch my walkthrough explanation of the UX Prototype below:
User Interface Design
The request by T-Mobile was to make the interface high-tech feeling. So I utilized stylistic elements and unique card cut outs to bring this to life.
The project was well received by T-Mobile's internal teams, and I was commended on my design and adherence to T-Mobile's brand style.

Thanks for reading!
If you're wondering what this strange contraption of levers and knobs is, it was simply something we had created for us to showcase this technology if it were to be used on a set of high pressure water systems.
