Sustainable House on a Slope

The solution started by dividing the spaces into 3 main zones (work and visitors zone/living zone/sleeping zone) .The zones were placed on three different yet connected levels on the slope ,and were connected by a central core which is the main circulation path (stairs) that acts as the lung of the house that allows the cold and fresh air to pass into the house from some openings in the southern facade , and lets the hot air exit from the skylight on top of the circulation core.

The  opening on the southern facade were provided with sun shades that reduces the solar heat exchange.

The distribution of spaces along the slope had provided a well respect to the topography of the site , and the open spaces in living zone allows the natural light to penetrate into the hole house.
