Shou Stool
This stool is a project I did years ago with a good friend of mine Yu Hsiu Li. The stool is made from reclaimed Oregon "Douglas fir" which was been burnt and brushed to bring out the grain of the wood - the idea for this came about after researching the Shou Sugi Ban technique that is used on wood siding in Japan.
