CURA – virtual business

schoolproject – 2021

CURA was a project I made with a colleague (Johanna Rossegger) in school. We should create a virtual business for a topic we are interested in. My colleague and I are both into gardening, but as we live in a city it can get very difficult to do so – which birthed our business idea: an online shipping business for plants and equipment, especially for private urban gardening.

The name CURA derives from the latin words »cultus« and »radix«, which mean »education«, »way of living«, »cultivation« and »root«, »origin«. It's also the name of our brand personality.
We made a lot of logo variations, cause CURA should be versatile and alterable. The lines in the radish should give an organic feel and also symbolize the flow of time.
The colours we chose are trendy, they stand for the urban lifestyle and should be flashy. Here you can also see the even more logo-colour-combinations.

The vegetable illustrations we made can be used to loosen up layouts or to be animated for the website.
The stationary has a white background when it is printed and the online version has a green background. Here you can also see the business rubber stamp.
The advertising pillar and guerrilla marketing on the tram are part of the initial campaign, which should create a mystical vibe around the business, cause there is no information.

The 24 sheets and 16 sheets paper ads are used to advertise the business by using catchy slogans and giving a preview for our products.
Here are the flyer and the poster for the workshops, which are offered by CURA.
Instagram ist very important for representation purposes. We would use it to show new products, give informations about sustainability and gardening. From time to time there would be giveaways too. The giveaways could include seed bombs, which are wrapped in old fabrics, with graspaper labels.
Every cool and trendy brand needs some merch too – so we made some shirts, tote-bags and caps. For workshops there are also buttons with names on them and special shirts for supervisors.
Our Instagram influencers are invited to a special event once a year, the invitation is send out as direct mail. The direct mail is printed on two different papers: the envelope is made from grass cardboard and the invitation is made from Gmund Bio Cycle "Chlorophyll" – this way it smells like hay and nature when you open the envelope. The logo is cut out on the invitation, so you can see the contact details through it.
This folder would be used to promote our business in general – for example by our mess booth.
